[[LY] Unholy Voices WIP]

Pretty good!

Not really my type of music, but I enjoyed some parts of it :P

The EQ'ing sounds good. Everything sounds good and clear. Maybe try changing thing up and bit with the drums and melodies in the full song. It started to get pretty repetitive about half way through.

Also, I think there needs to be more bass. Its called drum and bass for a reason :P It doesn't need much though. Maybe add a soft and faint bass just to give the melodies and drums more support.

Oh, and increase the volume on all of the synths used. I could barely hear them over the drums.

Overall, its a very well crafted song. You're on the right track with this on :)

But thanks for the well written advice! I fully agree it needs more bass. I usually write basslines last because I find they need a ton of EQing to sit in a mix properly. To get any full sounding basses, you'll need to add them last for if you don't, you'll end up with spectrumrape. :P

Not bad

Overall its a pretty good song. The EQ'ing is very good and all the sounds and vocals are very clear. The only things that really bother me are the repetitiveness of the song and the vocals just sound weird to me, for lack of a better word.

I enjoyed it though :) 4/5

WOW....

This is amazing. I have no idea how you made any of this stuff with default FL Studio stuff. This is unbelievable.

The amount of skill you possess is just unreal. I don't understand why you posting your music on Newgrounds when you can make awesome stuff like this. I'm surprised you aren't making millions yet!

Smooth

The song runs smoothly and I like the gates and the part at 1:25. They were really cool additions to the song.

I really don't know what else to say about this song since its not what I normally and its kind of short. Great job anyway though. I really enjoyed it :)

Beautiful

This song is just flat out gorgeous. Everything is just perfect...honestly. All of the instruments blended together perfectly which kinda seemed weird to me since there was such a variety of sounds. It's really cool how you pulled this one off :)

I loved the super long intro before the beat came in. This was my favorite part. It gave me a really sublime feeling. The best way I can describe it is a feeling of passion :P

The beat was very cool. It added elements that are usually present in your house and electro tracks which helped change the dimensions of the song. I'm glad you decided to put it in there :D

5/5 and fav'd. I would download, but my iPod is broken :( I'm come back and get it when I get a new one though :D

Pretty good!

Pretty cool song you have here. I liked all of the synths used and all of the melodies fit in well with the song. I also really liked the sidechaining part :D

The only problem is the piano. The notes are fine, but the sound quality for the piano is not very good :( Try to add some reverb to it and increase the EQ'ing on it. Do this and the song will be 5x better :D

Great song over all. Just make it a bit longer and fix that piano ;)

Pretty :)

The song is very pretty. I could see it transforming to a VERY epic song if you keep working with it. However, there are a few problems...

The overall volume is very loud; turn it down a bit. Also, it doesn't loop very well. It jumps toward the end, but I'm not sure if this is a demo of a full song or a loop since it is not classified as a loop :P

Keep working with it. This could be a very good song! :)

A good start!

I'd say this is a pretty good attempt at your first time at recording something of this genre.

I LOVED the smooth intro part and I was getting pumped when you did the slide, but I was dissappointed with the ending. It just didn't run smoothly with the intro :/

But keep trying man! I feel like you can make some really great metal songs in the future with some practice!

Very good!

I really enjoyed this song. Very pretty indeed. It also had somewhat of a depressing tone to it which was pretty cool.

The overall mastering was spot on. I couldn't find any problems with the mastering at all, so your skills are fine :)

I would have loved to hear a different instrument other than the stings, however. It would have been cool to hear a piano in there ;)

Overall, great job!

Good attempt

The song itself (and by that I mean the notes of the song) are very pretty. However, the mediocre sound quality of the piano takes away some of the beauty that this song possesses :/

I suggest that you add some reverb, maybe a bit of a delay, and whatever you think you can incerase the quality of this song.

Its a really good and beautiful piece in it's core. It just needs a few tweaks and a better conclusion :)

4/5 for a good effort. Think about my suggestions. I really want to hear this song when it is at it's best!
